The recipe I used was from the back of my wheat flour bag and the recipe uses beer as leavening agent. I followed the recipe to the dot and the bread came out uncooked in the center. The outside looked brown and I even added 5 more minutes to the baking time making it 1 hour. It also sounded hollow when I checked. I let it cool down and saw that inside was still a little gooey but it is not advisable to bake it again (resources from Internet) so I just cut them up and make toasts :(
No pictures. I'm disappointed. Wasted a good bottle of beer, 3 cups of flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and butter.
